Meet Shey, a serial entrepreneur and founder of The Spicy Bean Lab. She loves creating new things, learning about different cultures, and exploring the world. As a pre-med Biology major in college, she was fascinated by experimenting in the lab. But it didn't take long for her to realize that she was born to innovate. So, she switched gears and pursued entrepreneurship instead. “Coffee has always been an integral part of my life but nothing caught my taste. That's why I created The Spicy Bean Lab - because we needed something better than settling for just any coffee!”


The Spicy Bean Lab was born out of love for people to experience the best specialty coffee. Our beans are roasted in small batches, and pour over with the rich aromas that make each cup feel like a gift. Handcrafted using only the best Arabica beans from Brazil and Colombia, The Spicy Bean Lab offers a range of blends for all palettes. From our signature Cardamom Panna Cotta to Espresso, we want every sip to be savored and enjoyed by all!


We believe in a sustainable future, and that means taking care of our environment as well as our customers. That's why we only source our organic beans from producers who are committed to bettering their communities through social responsibility initiatives they've created themselves.

As coffee roasters, we have a responsibility to find innovative ways to reduce our impact on the environment. The coffee industry has a massive carbon footprint, and as roasters, we need to do our part to find a solution. The Spicy Bean Lab uses a state of the art ZERO EMISSIONS coffee roasting process that reduces the carbon footprint by 90%. This exciting new technology not only reduces our impact on the environment, but it also allows us to produce a higher quality product.
